Summer Hair Trends

TRESemmé is excited to return to Miami as the official hair care sponsor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. We have rounded up five hair trends we are excited to see this summer!

Knots

Knots are a chic and easy way to add an element of fun to your summer look and are perfectly on trend this season. From a classic chignon to a high-set top knot, you can be creative with your parting and position to take your style from day to night in a flash!

BRAIDS

Braids are a summer favorite and a trend that's here to stay. Try incorporating your braid into a bun or ponytail for a modern twist, or opt for a loose braid with a textured finish. You can also change it up with fun fishtail braids like the ones the TRESemmé Styling Team created for Mara Hoffman's show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim last season! The best part about this summer style is that once you undo the braid, you're left with loose waves that can quickly be turned into a sexy, effortless look for a night out.

COLOR

Try adding a pop of color to your summer style! While ombre continues to be a huge trend this season, you can also brighten up your color by simply adding some buttery blond pieces. A fun way to experiment with color without the commitment is by adding one or two colored, clip-in extensions!

PONYTAILS

Ponytails will be one of the biggest trend this season in all shapes and textures — low, high, dry, wet, or teased! A chic, yet classic style that's really easy to do, you can quickly make the style more modern by adding texture to the ponytail, or add a touch of elegance with a cute barrette.

BEACHY WAVES

Beachy waves are constantly a summer hairstyle must-do! This season, capture a relaxed, tousled look by working with your natural texture. Whether you were born with waves or you're creating them with a curling iron, stay on trend by adding texture and movement to your style!
