Mousse, mousse, mousse! You can never use too much when trying to achieve great volume. Apply TRESemmé Volumizing Mousse directly on a vent brush and brush it through towel-dried hair from root to tip. |
Blow-dry your hair 50% of the way dry with your head flipped upside down to give your roots a strong base for volume. |
When you flip your head back up, use a vent brush to lift hair at the roots and hold the dryer for a couple seconds on the hair on the brush to get extra volume. |
Immediately after you finish blow-drying, wrap two-inch sections of hair around medium-sized Velcro rollers and allow your hair to cool completely - about 20 minutes. This will give you lift at the roots, as well as a smooth bend at the ends. |

If you have fine hair, don't wait too long after applying styling products to blow-dry your hair. Letting your hair air-dry is not the best way to achieve volume. Try to begin heat styling within 15 minutes of getting out of the shower. |
Don't use heavy shampoos and conditioners, even if your hair feels dry. Use products specifically formulated for volume to get the best results. |
Avoid applying conditioner directly to your roots. After shampooing, squeeze out excess water from the ends of your hair and apply conditioner from the middle of the hair shaft down to the ends. Rinse well! |
