Backstage, TRESemmé New York Fashion Week ambassador and legendary hair stylist Orlando Pita worked with a huge range of different haircuts and textures at the Monse SS17 show to create the style that epitomizes this trend: the Personalised Wave. Pita translated the designer’s deconstructed, seductive collection into a variety of different wavy hair looks for the models – long hair was styled with a classic boho centre part, shorter looks were given more texture for an androgynous finish, and there were even the occasional graphic bangs for a tougher edge. For an effortless outcome, Pita concentrated on not forcing a style on any of the different models, instead taking an organic approach and celebrating what made each girl's hair unique – perfectly capturing the Monse SS17 aesthetic and this wavy hair trend.
