As official hair care sponsors of New York Fashion Week, TRESemmé has a front row seat for all the new hair trends as they happen. Here’s the scoop on the most exciting Spring, Summer 2016 hair styles, straight from the catwalk.
The effortless top knot, deep side part, and a modern crimp were all trends spotted at Spring, Summer 2016. We also said hello to headbands and 60s-style bangin' bangs, as well as looks that leant towards the teased and tousled 'undone' side.
On The Catwalk
At Banana Republic (pictured right), models wore wispy high ponies to show off statement earrings, and sleek side partings with bold sunglasses for a graphic vibe. The colorful relaxed tailoring showed these styles are great for work and play.
Elsewhere at Rebecca Minkoff, 60's blow outs with bangs complemented the sultry, sexy mod-meets-boho style. This mostly monochrome show toughened feminine fabrics with studs, sequins, leather and rivets.
At Marissa Webb (pictured left), the side-swept buns let tasselled earrings and collared necklines shine. Soft met safari, with sheer fabrics, khaki utility jackets, and botanical prints.
At Rachel Zoe, meanwhile (pictured right), the designer's signature boho waves tumbled over bare shoulders at her Gypsy-inspired showcase of rope belts, ruffles, suede, and tassels.
