GET THE SLEEK PONYTAIL STYLE STRAIGHT FROM THE RUNWAY

But fear not, we’ve teamed up with top stylist Ryan Trygstad to show you how to get that runway-ready sleek ‘do in just 5 simple steps, with some handy pro tips thrown in for good measure. Trust us, it’ll only take minutes for you to go from freshly washed hair to a ponytail that's fit for the catwalk.

You’ll need these tools to achieve the look: Blow dryer, paddle brush, section clip, flat iron, soft bristle brush, elastic, bobby pins and seriously smooth vibes.

Step 1: Start with wet or damp hair. With your fingers, apply TRESemmé Get Sleek Runway Collection Blow Dry Balm. Used backstage at NYFW shows, this salon-professional favourite helps to provide heat protection, shine and smoothness. Make sure to distribute the balm from roots to tips for full coverage.

Step 2: Now, you’re not going to dry your hair the usual way. Using a paddle brush, blow dry your hair away from your face. Tip: The key is not to form a parting. You don’t need to section your hair, just brush away as you blow dry so you get an even head of hair.

Step 3: Section your hair, then spritz on Get Sleek Heat Protection Spray from mid-length to tip before straightening. Spray from 25-30 centimetres away and use a section clip to keep loose hair tied back.
