HOW TO STYLE A LOW TWISTED BUN

Ready to go? All you need is five minutes, an elastic and some TRESemmé favorites. Follow along with our partner Sara as she shows you how to do a twisted bun.

Step 1: Defense mode

Step 2: The heat is on

It’s time to start blow-drying. Separate your hair using clips and use the medium heat setting and nozzle to concentrate on each section of hair. Finish with a cool blast to keep frizz at bay.

Step 3: Round the twist

Begin to put your hair back into a low ponytail with an elastic. Instead of pulling your ends all the way through in your last loop, pause about a quarter of the way, grab your ends, and swoop them to the left, up and over. Then loop hair underneath your elastic. Neaten with some bobby pins if you want sleek and elegant, or skip the pins and keep it casual for a messier look.

Step 4: Put a bow on it

Once your bun is where it needs to be, make it your own! Style it out with a ribbon like Sara, or try a fun printed scarf or bow. Just wrap the scarf or ribbon around the bun, tie it up with a pretty bow or leave it loose.
