Tresemme Virtual Try-On Privacy Statement
We pride ourselves in helping customers find the right solutions for their hair. In furtherance of this goal, we offer our customers a virtual try-on tool designed to help each customer discover products based on your hair and styling behavior.
To use this virtual try-on tool, we ask customers to provide us with real-time selfie images of their face. We and our trusted third-party vendors may collect, capture, store, use, receive or otherwise obtain and process your selfie images and data or information based on the processing of your facial images which may include face geometry (“Image Data”) to provide this personalized virtual try-on experience and product recommendations and to further develop product recommendations.
In connection with this virtual-try on experience, we will disclose the customer’s Image Data to our trusted third-party vendors who process this data strictly in accordance with our contractual agreements. Other than disclosures to third-party vendors who support our virtual try-on tool, we do not use, disclose, sell or retain our customers’ Image Data for any other commercial purpose. We do not use Image Data for purposes of recognizing or identifying a particular customer.
We and our third-party vendors will automatically delete and permanently destroy the Image Data promptly after it is used for purposes of providing the personalized virtual try-on experience and product recommendations, generally within a short period of time after it is collected.
Because we do not retain Image Data after it is used for the purposes of providing each customer with a session-based personalized virtual-try on experience and product recommendations, we will repeat the Image Data collection process described above each time you interact with the virtual-try on tool.
